I am honored and grateful to serve as your pastor here at St. Frances Cabrini and witness Christ's love daily in our parish community. Each year, all parishes in Santa Clara County come together to support the ministries and programs in our Diocese through the Annual Diocesan Appeal, the ADA. All funds that are raised over our Diocesan Goal of $136,403 will be fully rebated back to our parish to fund local needs. Our Church needs new carpeting, improved lighting, a modern sound system and re-painting. My hope is that we will be able to raise an additon $150,000 to fund these improvements to our Church home.
We are brought together from all walks of life through various ministries and services to do God's work of justice, mercy, outreach, and formation. Supporting Our Mission Together, the Annual Diocesan Appeal for the Diocese of San Jose, provides the financial support of these ministries and services for all Catholics in our community. It also gives parishes the opportunity to raise significant funds by earning rebates over their own individual parish goal.
