The Catholic Foundation – Diocese of Austin was established in 2007. Our Vision is to build up the ministry of Christ in Central Texas through long-term, sustainable support to parishes, Catholic schools, diocesan ministries, and other Catholic charitable causes serving in the Diocese of Austin, provide an accessible, sustainable, reliable, and socially responsible means for donors to connect with those in need, and live out our faith in Jesus Christ, our hope for the future, and our love of God and neighbor.
We accomplish this by establishing endowments in support of this vision. Please read below to learn more about each fund.
Priests, Deacons & Seminarians:
Religious vocations grow with the support from endowments. These funds are used to support, educate, train and recruit seminarians who will serve in the Diocese of Austin as well as housing, maintenance and care for retired priests.
Parishes:
Parish endowments support the life and programs of a designated parish. These funds provide for the long-term need of the parish community and strengthen its financial stability.
Catholic Schools:
Endowments for education ensure the continuation and growth of Catholic schools for future generations. These funds are used to support tuition assistance initiatives and general operating needs in Catholic schools.
Campus Ministry:
Catholic campus ministry aims to build a faith community on our college and university campuses, bring the message of Christ to the academic world and prepare future leaders of society and our church.
Ministries and Catholic Cemeteries:
Cemetery endowment funds allow us to continue to honor those who have passed into eternal life. They are used to maintain and provide the upkeep, maintenance and repair in Catholic cemeteries.
Catholic Organizations:
Catholic organization endowment funds support the operational expenses of retreat centers, Catholic Charities and other charitable works that provide young Catholics and families with opportunities to explore their faith and develop a closer relationship with God and service to the poor and vulnerable.
