Francis Cardinal George Scholarship Fund
Archbishop Emeritus of Chicago, Francis Cardinal George, O.M.I. (1937 – 2015), launched the To Teach Who Christ Is campaign to strengthen parishes, Catholic education and faith formation in the Archdiocese of Chicago. Cardinal George sought to ensure a Catholic education was available to all children, regardless of financial need.
A memorial fund has been established in the Catholic Education Scholarship Trust in the Cardinal’s name. The Francis Cardinal George Scholarship Fund is a permanent endowment in this independent Trust and will provide scholarships to qualified children in Catholic schools throughout the Archdiocese of Chicago.
