Description

Since 1990 The Nutrition Center has fed and cared for the children of La Victoria who are most at risk for malnutrition and other diseases of childhood poverty. The center functions as a preschool, and currently more than 140 children, from infancy to third grade, are enrolled. In addition to providing early childhood education, the Nutrition Center gives the children breakfast and lunch, basic medical care and evaluation of growth, hygiene needs, transportation to and from the center, and lots of love. The Schoenstatt Sisters of Mary have been running the center for over 30 years with love and dedication, in partnership with the parishioners of Nativity Catholic Church and Partners with La Victoria.

On Sept. 19th, 2024, Nativity is hosting a Fall Fundraiser with all proceeds going to support the needs of the children of La Victoria and the Nutrition Center.
